This is more or less a list of sites I feel are helpful
Web Design
- Color Scheme Designer - Good resource for picking colors that work together with a site.
- Free Stock Photo's Exchange - Free stock photos. Very helpful if you dont care to take your own pictures.
- W3 schools - Great place to start with just about any language / task available on the web. It's also a good reference tool.
- PHP.net - This is usually where people mean to go when the tell you to RTFM.
- jQuery - jQuery makes javascript so much easier! It's also useful for AJAX.
- 52framework.com - Gridstyle framework for html5.
- FireBug! - an addon for Firefox which allows you to quickly debug your page, especially helpful with javascript.
- XAMPP - XAMPP is a cross platform prebuilt apache server so you can get started with web development quickly and easily
- Code Igniter - php framework with really good documentation.

Android
- Android Developer Site - See above.
- app Inventor - Never used it but Im told good things.
- XDA Developers - Alot of android hacks 'n such. Or you could learn to develop android roms and such.
- AIR for android - Create programs for android in flash. MAJOR BENEFIT: apps made for android in AIR, are very easily ported to Istuff.
- Stack Overflow - You will end up on this site a lot, however, it is useful for much more than just android.
Other Things
- notepad++ - simple yet powerful text editor. I use it for php.
- eclipse.com - Maybe this one is just too obvious. But hey, thats what I have a degree in.
- Lynda.com - Tutorials for everything to do with media. Paying for it is always the best option. Damn those poor college kids who torrent these. (These tutorials really are nice and you should pay for them if you can).
Funny/Awesome
- Woot! - one deal per day.
- Moofi - Woots secret little shop, occasionally you can get tomorrows sales early. (Moofi = woot! upside down)
- SlashDot - Technology based news.
- Kahn Acadamy - Free school... Its better than public school, I promise.
- Speed Reader - If you are like me you learn in all your free time, and if there is one thing I have learned: You probably arn't like me. But it wouldnt hurt to have the ability to read really fast would it?
